Welcome

6/12/2024

Dear Valued Ingram Micro Vendor or Carrier Partner,

We recently updated our North American Routing Guide. Effective 6/17/2024, this update to our routing guide includes updated expansion for several key areas impacting shipping both inbound to Ingram Micro facilities and direct shipments to customers.

Key updates are below as follows:

  • US ALC Listing – We have updated our ALC locations with the check in and check out processes at each location.
  • Carrier Matrix – Carrier selection has been updated, please note that UPS Ground will now be the primary Small Parcel carrier for Ingram Micro for all ground and air shipments.  Please work with your purchasing teams for the Small Parcel account number to use. This will be effective 6/17/2024.
  • IM Mexico – The Small Parcel carrier has changed from FedEx to UPS, please ensure that you are using UPS (Ground & Air) for all small parcel shipments beginning 6/17/2024
  • Carrier Selection Truckload SOP link has been updated

Failure to comply with the provisions contained in our guide is considered a breach of our agreement and will result in non-compliance charges being assessed as outlined at Non-Compliance Charges. All vendors will have until Friday, June 28, 2024 to be compliant before chargebacks will be assessed.

Ingram Micro is constantly looking at ways to improve the way we do business with you and for all of our partners. The changes to our routing guide and in our procedures are with the goal of facilitating efficiencies across the entire channel, from your manufacturing plants to our distribution network and on through to the solution providers and end-users around the world.

Again, please take time to review the updates thoroughly. If you have any questions, please contact your Ingram Micro Vendor Business Manager or Planner.

Best Regards,

Eric Schnabel
