Welcome to Rockwell Automation's North American & Brazil  Inbound Routing Guide for domestic and international suppliers. Please review this guide. Our aim is to keep improving our collective supply chain efficiencies, while constantly increasing our value.

• Every supplier that maintains a contract or open purchase order with Rockwell Automation has the responsibility for ensuring that each of their global shipping locations has knowledge of this routing website. 

• All shipments to Rockwell Automation from suppliers must be shipped FREIGHT COLLECT, via the preferred Freight Forwarder/Carrier specified in the Inbound Routing Guide website. The only exception will be those special supplier shipping programs authorized by the Manager of Transportation. Rockwell Automation will not pay freight charges on supplier invoices.

• Note for Inbound Shipments to The Rockwell Whitestown Distribution Center:

  • For each inbound tracking number to the IDC, the BOL to contain all Rockwell Automation purchase orders contained on that tracking number

  • An email to whitestownasn@rockwellautomation.com for each tracking number is required before arrival. This email is to contain the carrier, tracking number, purchase orders, and the quantity shipped per purchase order on that tracking number

   

• Any deviation from the specific routing listed here in this matrix for your shipping locations must be authorized by Rockwell Automation local operations personnel on an emergency, shipment by shipment basis. In these cases only the name of the Rockwell Automation employee authorizing the shipment exception should be recorded on the supplier s bill of lading.
